MSU Extension-Macomb County
Established in 1914, MSU Extension remains responsive to current issues and opportunities to bring knowledge to life in Michigan's communities in a wide range of topics. MSU Extensions' Mission is to help people improve their lives through an educational process that applies knowledge to critical issues, needs and opportunities. MSU Extension receives federal funding from the USDA, which enables us to address national issues at the local level, state funding, which allows us to serve all Michigan residents, and local funding, which allows us to provide services close to home. MSU Extension also seeks and receives funding from public and private funders to help us broaden our mission and reach, often in partnership with other organizations.
MSU Extension provides current, research-based information through educational programs, webinars, articles, demonstrations and email or phone responses to questions. Go to www.msue.msu.edu and you will find hundreds of current articles, and information about upcoming educational programs in youth development, agriculture, land use, entrepreneurship, nutrition, food safety, family, lawn and garden, natural resources, and state and local government.
